This is the qs. to be asked.I thnk he has gone into hiding after listening to the gr8 compositions from the King of Music A.R.RAHMAN in Bose:the forgotten hero.he shd immediately go and ask for pardon for issuing such irresponsible comments after hearing ths composition.on the review i shd only say to buy ths album and hv a taste of ths rare talent in Rahman.I am totally bowled over and nthng much i cn say.i wd rather listen to the album now. Bye evrybody and ban Ismail Darbar
Yehh... Rehman's music is excellent and it suits each genre including hisorical movies but please give us a break we need to listen something new, refreshing. And definitely Rehman will not give that. Benegal should have explored other options and it wasnt difficult for him to get one in current talent pool in India. Its a miss on opportunity! cynics will remain cynics forever.ARR has done a great job...Probably Anu Malik or some one like that could have done some really new original music which our friend Patil would like.
good review, good narration abt each song especially themes (which have given least priority in our hindi cinema set-up so far). Rahaman has given theme music in almost all his movies & excellent though unnoticed! tragic!!! anyways, cutting brief,no disagreements with the review except 'Ekla Chalo'. i consider it 'the best'.one must listen to the blend of bengoli & hindi 'Gaayaki' with amazingly soothing percussions especially 'Duff' in the end.hope the music doesn't get passed unnoticed merely coz of lack of publicity (which happened to Legend of Bhagatsingh & Tehzeeb).happy listening!
A.R Rahman....now it is underlined. The name speaks volumes. The name which is going to thrill the Indians all over the world (music) again with the ultimate music of Bose-The Forgotten Hero. This was one of the most awaited film and music of 2005....and boy what a glorious album he has given. This is what we call the art of music. CLASSIC!! no doubt this will give Rahman newer heights. Hats of to the Indian Music's Maestro or what someone calls as The God of Music.(though he doesn't like him calling so) Mr.Ismail Darbar want anything more??
