I think that the interviewer has a personal grudge against bengalis and that is reflected in his question where he asks Nandana whether by playing a bengi woman with the accent she is exaggerating an already silly prototype?! Being a bengali myself I am hurt by such questions. I dont think that hindi movies have ever portrayed bengalis with an accent as silly! We have movies like Devdas, raincoat and a long list of movies from the Hrishikesh Mukherjee/ basu Chatterjee clan whio have always portrayed bengalis and intelligent creatures. Some characters might have had an obvious accent but there was nothing silly about them.
