Gemini was a thinking actor. He was smart and intelligent. In his long career rarely did he get in to any controversy. At the same time he kept his own always and was a proud gentleman with a great self respect. He was versatile and highly talented. He would have been a great success in Bolly wood also like his daughter but for the prejudice against South Indian actors (particularly men) in the Bollywood film industry.
Tamil film has lost one of its most colourful personalities.
