What shakti kapoor uttered with the journalist is not an lie. Since everyone has got exposed directly or indirectly they are making a hue and cry about this issue.
Having said this I am not backing shakti kapoor but he is just an element of this system.
I am shocked at the reactions shown by a lot of ppl from the film fraternity. Bhaichara is great, but not when u support something as immoral as this. We all knew that the casting couch existed in the industry ( and like many say , that it does in many others), so does that mean we turn a blind eye to it. Yea sure India TV got unprecedented coverage and eyeballs, so whats wrong. If being pried upon is what is going to stop these guys from acting immorally , then so be it. Damn, the police dont stop them, the dfear of god certainly doesnt, nor do the facts that they have a family.... If the fear of being exposed is the only thing that stops them then I'll say, bring them on baby. Power to Tehalka and power to India TV. Just 1 point, he says she hounded him for 6 months... she should have recoomended her to some acting class.. period. No excuses Mr. Shakti, u reap as u sow.
i sincerely believe that whatever has been decided to be done with shakti kapoor is very correct and deserved by him... he seems to be a person of very poor character... but the way in which he is defending himself,can lead anyone into thinking... even i'm at times confused if shakti has really done it,or is just being framed... well he himself knows about it. but i'm also very shocked as no news channel,including the "india tv" showed the news properly.. in fact the night ,this news was out,i was only scanning the news channels to get the real picture,but in vain! i hardly got any glimpse of the news... if "india tv" has worked so hard towards revealing the real face of shakti,it should have aired it confidently,as the other big news...
Without going into the morality of the whole episode , it may be noted that it is a well known fact that man tells blatant lies for winning sexual favours of women in most of the extra marital affairs. We all laughed it off as a joke in the Sanjeev Kumar movie 'Pati Patni aur Woh' , where he made his healthy loving wife into a sick woman..
Let every man(especially in Bollywood) who had a extra marital affair (I am sure majority of them surely might have had)ask their hearts how many lies they have uttered to win over the girl. There are also cases when Girls do this , but not a big deal as no one bothers. No body blames Monica Lewinsky , but everyone blames Bill Clinton.
Yes, Shakti Kapoor did talk foolishly , but unlike many he did not act foolish(trying to rape)
Shakti kapoor no matter what his conduct was very true , realistic & honest, although he got outsmarted by sting operation. More pathetic is the conduct of so called big-wigs & established film industry stalwarts who have been blind to culture of film industry. Now also they they don't have the courage to accept the state in which the film industry is in. shakti kapoor is just a scapegoat in all this. Every body knows & understands what the film industry is & shakti kapoor is no worse than the rest of the lot. If shakti kapoor cannot be a symbol of the the industry than these so called moralists cannot be either.
The media should expose more such people. People consider Bollywood stars as God. Hope this will open ther eyes. Bollywood is the biggest enemy of this nation.
