Hi, I am very much interested to see the movies which include the concepts of corruption and social issues. The list of my Favourites contains : Matadaana, Shaapa, Munnudi,... The list is going to update with a Good Movie called \\\\\\\"BERU\\\\\\\". The review is good and i invite all of you to watch this on 13th Nov. There will be two shows one at 11 AM and another at 3 PM. If any one is interested then mail me back asap.
The objective of a review is not to reveal the story (or even plot-points for that matter), rather provide an intelligent assessment of the merits/de-merits of a film, based on various criteria. You could leave it to the audience intelligence to decide if a film is worth taking up a part of their lives to provide insight or entertainment!
In this case you have pretty much ruined the element of curiosity leaving nothing for the viewer to look forward to!! I am really unsure what it is you are even trying to say here, besides revealing the entire movie and patronising the work of a director who is virtually unknown to non-Kannada speaking audience, myself included!
***Rediff editors - Please refrain from such an approach to reviewing films. The reviewer may be an intelligent cinemagoer but certainly not a discernible reviewer, who understands the nuances of reviewing films. While I realize its impossible to get Prem Panicker and Arthur Pais to cover every film released, it ought to be justified to employ people with some credible experience in this field. After all, they are dispatching material on your website!

Dear Savio, U R Right...the review should not reveal the story.. but it is good effort by rediff.com to support offbeat cinema that too regional... BERU is an xcellent movie..every movie lover must watch film especially kannadigas... but the film has been released in PVR theatre only the middle class viewer may miss the feast.. I request to concerned person to release movies in some more theatre
