hi pals ! i really loved the movie socha na tha . i went to see the movie just for fun but believe me i've ended up watching the movie thrice already. and i can watch it at least two more times .ayesha takia especially is a treat to watch .abhay too is very good .the songs are melodious and i didn't see anything wrong in the movie .take my word go for it if u haven't yet watched it . though i believe the movie would have done a lot better had it been released before exams and also the indo pak cricket series.also the movie suffered from low publicity .
wow!!! socha na tha was really a refreshing movie.i watched it nearly three times.the music is mesmerising. Abhay deol is superb but still a long way to go.Ayesha n Abhay make great pair. What actually i liked is the simple n natural way the whole dilemma of younger generation was presented. Its just proves that there is no nedd of those hot item numbers to make the audience sit and watch movie.Oue industry is drowning out of ideas and this kinda movie proves that still we gotta hope! well done Imtiaz Ali....
I always thought that Socha Na Tha would be a good movie. The music was good and the proos were also pretty good. Infact it turned out to be even better. The ending as a little bizzare though.
A very good movie and definitely worth more than a watch. See it to forget Bewafa f u had watched that one!
Socha na tha is really good movie. with some light moments. Couple of songs are fantastic that u will remember while leaving the theatre. Abhay deol done his part good. Ayesha looks good & better thing is that she also acts well.
Its a beautiful movie with its pungent humour. The lead actors have done a great job. Finally, this is a movie this year which I will recommend to everyone.. ... worth a watch.
Sometimes, you don't expect anything much from a film; but, it turns out to be good. This is what Socha na tha did. The film has turned out to be good, for the kind of treatment given to it. There is nothing much about the story; but, certainly the screenplay and direction is good enough to hold the film from start till the end. In fact the film started off very well, slightly faultered after the interval and then held the grip again to win the audience.
Interestingly, Ajay Deol has won the hearts of the film viewers in his debut film, for the manner in which he has played the role. Being his first film, he looked confident. So, was the case with Ayesha Takia, who was only 16 when she played this role. This being her first film ( as the next two were released first); she has done extremely well.
Full marks goes to the director Imtiaz Ali, who in his first film, has shown the sparks of becoming a successful director in near future. In short, Socha na Tha is worth watching for all though it is targetted at young collegians.
Atlast there is one flick.... wich i can say.. a more tahn worth watching... Maine "socha na tha "ki SOCHA NA THA WOULD BE THIS MUCH A GOOD MOVIE... This movie..which has two debuts , both director+writer(Imtiaz Ali) and the apna new deol(Abhay)... And what to say about.. AYESHA TAKIA... She is too cute..and beautiful... she did fine job for a 2 film old .... and about abhay..he is fine as for a debut.. did fine job..his dialogs and timmings are good..but he should work on GYM... BUT the out new director...Ali saab did excelent job.. And the songs are too good... "yara rab","abhi-abhi",and all are good...and hummable too.. story is fresh and clean.. worth(MUST) for all type of viewers...
