Subhash ji,Devdas is no comparison for Parineeta.Parineeta is a much better film(except for the pardonable climax scene),well executed and performed. Not much people could relate to SRK's adaptation of Devdas or Bhansali's rendition of the classic.While Devdas leaves u color blind and feeling that u had tasted something bad,that has to be washed off,Parineeta can be thought of as a beautiful-subtle movie.

Secondly, agree with you that Parineeta is indeed a beautifully-made and enacted film but also feel that Devdas too was quite a nice film - with SRK doing justice to the title role ! Liked both films very much, and would not like to compare them and run down any one of them in favour of the other !
