Shahrukh being awarded the youth icon for this year, I think is the perfect choice as he serves as a role Model for the new generation. This generation youth of which I am too a part is ceratinly is always behind finding the shortcuts to succeess. At this time shahrukh serves as a model who had struggled a alot and then only he was able to be the rajah of bollywood now. If men are from Mars and women from Venus, is the species known as 'youth' from the moon orbiting the distant Pluto? There comes a moment in our lives when it certainly starts seeming that way. so no doubt that making him a role model will motivate the youth to be like him ,thats struggling in the right path. Besides being a good actor he is a marvellous person who is down to earth after even reaching such heights a faithful husband and a loving father.

wot u say is absolutely right!! he is a chimney smoker who doesnt even bother about his health.....how can he be a youth icon?? hes going to realise it very very soon...
