i have just go through the comments on ramji 10 hit films.. people are very much disappointed ki y he has not mentioned telgu/other hindi movies... arey yaar simple na.. i can assure u all that this is not his permanent choice.. y u people are crying this movie or that movie.. this is his choice friends not yr choice and he has also forgotten that this is his best 10 movies .. this depends on his mood and he has not watched all the indian movies.. don try to make the people according to your chocie friends.. i m right na!! no? never mind?.. u need not to change the world
At first I was really surprised to see the list compiled by Mr Varma. But it seems as though he tried to include films from all genres. He has probably forgotten that we're talking about five all time greatest Indian films and the only three films that could fall in this category are "Kalyug", "Ardha Satya" and "36 Chowringhee Lane". There could also be a further debate on which one to select from these three films. It is appalling to see that today's successful directors have no basic knowledge of Film History. It is also utter foolishness, I consider, to approach such people for an opinion.
i like ramgopal varma garu and his direction. i was trying since 1 year to meet him.but i didn't meet him, because of incorrect address.i have collected from the googale.co.in some information.i that they have given some of the information correctly.i followed that adress and somany times i called him.but sombody is lifting the phone and not giving any response.please give me the proper to meet to varma garu.
i am interested to meet varma garu.
if u don't mind please provide sir's adress, phone number(office as well as personal),and als mail id
It really surprises me when some of the most illustrious directors of Indian Cinema -- people like adoor gopalkrishnan and girish kassarvalli should miss out on movies like dhyas parva by Amol PAlekar, Do Aankhen Baara Haath by V shantaram and the recent master piece Shwaas.
are we seeing a strong regional bias over here. clearly good films are not relegated to only one part of India.
No doubt Rams one of the best directors. The list selected by him clearly indicates he wasnt in a mood to select the best. It seems obvious that he just randomly picked up a few of 'em which just occured to him at that time.
NO WAY THAT HE SAT AND THOUGHT ABOUT THE MOVIES....may be he was too busy with his "company" :)
ram sir is a very huge personality for indian cinema he is one and only one tiger in indian cinema.there is no other director will born like ram sir. god made another god for indian cinema....... no body can reach his thoughts and plans. he is a wonderful director for this earth.....
I am not convinced with the movie listed by Mr. Ramgopal Verma as India's best. The only movie that matched between us is infact Sholay which is mother of ofcourse all Hindi movies. my list is as under. 1) Black-Amitabh Bacchan, Rani Mukherjee 2) Sholay- Dharmendra, Amitabh, Sanjeev Kumar, Hema, Jaya, Amzad Khan 3) Anand- RAjesh Khanna, Amitabh 4)Mughal Ee- Azaam- Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Prithvi Raj Kapoor 5) Ardhasatya 6) Jaane Bhi do Yaaro 7) Nayakan 8) Pather Panchali 9)Aparajito 10) Pyaasa Thanking You Pankaj R. Shakya

mr shakya..Black is not an original work so it does'nt fit at all. I mean it's totally taken from a european film..it;s sad that someone rank it to no 1 Indian film..and u ranked pyaasa in 10 rank ..u surely know films well..
