subhashji, i ve a great respect for your films. but i would like to tell u that u havent mentioned two x-cellent movies namely DDLJ and laggan...they are undoubtebly among the best . one more thing..u have selected taal among the best,,,, i suppose tat it is because its ur movie. is it?? this is a good movie with good sungs,no doubt but surely not among the best. please \"dont blow ur own trumphet\" thanks a lot... LOVE n LUCK --- ANIL DOSHI
i kind of dnt agree with mr.ghai with last 3 as i havent seen the top but looks all the classic but taal surely doesnt fit the list at all better movies like Lagaan and Company and satya and Hum and list can go on but tall surely no an even KKHH
The list made by Ghai is appropriate but including his movie 'Taal' in this list , he has tried to make partial about the selection . The Taal can be a good movie , but can not come in this list. Other 2 movies 'HAHK' & 'KKHH' are good entertainment movies & done very good business , but still can't be in this list . One more problem with the list is , the list is not comprehensive in respect to all other indian language movies .All other selection is good .No doubt about it .
What do you mean India's? It could best be described Hindi's best films. And including Taal in the list is maha-dumb. Where are the amazing Bengali/ Tamil/ Telugu/ Malayalam films made during the last 50 years? Is Mr Ghai so ignorant?
Though some of those films are on everybody's possible list i disagree with the selection as a whole..firstly mr.ghai has chosen classic films simply cos they are classics..the first of the genre...in fact these were the first to create the genre...cinematic perfection is the most important criterion and this takes into consideration the performance of the cas in the leading role...while this tells on the actors its the duty of the director to showcase the best out of the cast..hence with these factors in mind..my all time top ten are:- 1)SHOLAY (1975) 2)Deewar (1975) 3)mother india 4)Black (2005) 5)Mughal e azam 6)ghayal 7)Agneepath 8)damini 9)Kabhie Kabhie 10)hum aapke hai kaun
Sir, This is misrepresenting facts. Hindi is not only the medium of cinema in India..If you see the list of cinemas given ...it is not representing other places !..Is India means only Hindi for you ?
