Good personality
by Shikha on Jun 02, 2005 03:59 AM

I have not met him or seen him anywhere but wish i could do so but i know he is a very good personality. He was a very good husband, a very good father and more important very good person. After Narginsji's death he donated full money from one of his movie to one of the cancer hospital. very rare people get a thought of doing such thing and he did it. feels good to see people like these.
I liked his role in padosan, mother India, munnabhai MBBS and what not....
all his movies were good.
i hope his soul remains in peace.
whatever happens will always happen for good.
Happy to share my eeling for such a great personality.

A chance meeting with Mr. Dutt.
by Prof. V.G.Patnaik on Jun 01, 2005 05:17 PM

Some thirt five years ago I was on a flight from Bombay to Delhi. Lo, Mr Dutt was on the seat next to mine. He was'nt a Politician by then. A very impressive personality. By then I had seen only one movie of Mr. Dutt, Sujata.I felt uncomfortable sitting next to him.Suddenly he extended his hand , introduced himself to me and like a very curious child he got into a very meaningful and educative discussion about my profession. I was wonder struck with his interest and passion to learn things and his transparency. At that time I felt he was too big a soul to confine himself only to the celluloid, a comment he mildly brushed aside with humility and modesty. He was a very rare human being indeed!

Tribute To The Nicest Human Being Around
by Imran Asad on Jun 01, 2005 04:16 PM

This may sound very normal since every body is penning down the feelings for Sunil Dutt.I being an active cinegoer was never a Sunil Dutt Fan (to be honest)but when i cam to know about his untimely demise it really pinched me.I never react to anybody's deathunless they are close to me.For me Sunil Dutt was another actor plus politicianbut for the whole day i was not happy.Perhaps when i reached back home i dont know what made me switch on the TV to know more details.Next morning back in my office i was looking for more coverage on the internet.I realized late that the person in question was no ordinary person. An active politician who won the election on numerous occassion was never involved into any controversy(Except Sanjay Nirupam whom we all know)and was never into the limelight for wrong reason. This was a human being who kept aside the agony of his son and wife and worked dedicatedly for causes which wre in national interest. He ver spoke big about things which our leaders do.Perhaps it was his charm and respect that saved Sanjay from the prison(no one cany deny it).
I am not happy hearing his death.
Good Luck Sanju!!
I bid u farewell Dutt Saab!!!!!!!!!!!

A rare Human being
by Rajyashree Randhawa on Jun 01, 2005 03:38 PM

In the year 1991 I was on a flight to Delhi from Kolkata and was introduced to Sunil Dutt by a friend who knew Mr Dutt as well.Mr Dutt was also on his way to Delhi. He was so very polite and humble that i was amazed...while talking i asked him about his then daughter-in-law the late Richa Sharma Dutt and how she was keeping, his son Sunjay and praised him and said we were proud of him for all he had done for our country. After we landed in Delhi he asked me whether someone was coming to the airport to fetch me and if i needed transport to go home.He went to an extent of picking up my heavy suitcase and placing it on the trolley...He came out of the airport and met my husband Bunty and made sure I was in safe hands.
I was shocked and pained to hear of his sudden demise on 25th of May.He was truely a gentleman and a wonderful human being who will be missed by all.May God bless his soul.
