Hey guys...Jesus Christ!!! What's wrong with you people? Saif obviously said that as a joke. He obviously knows the stature of the Big B more than any of us. He belongs to the same industry, remember? And that too from childhood. What is it - either you people don't understand a joke OR you are too dumb to realise it. Go get a life guys!!
Look if Saif tells that he can wink at Amitabh then he is foolish. Because Amitabh is god of the film industry whilefor saif it will take many lives to reach there. According to me if he got the award then he should consider himself lucky
Awarding a national award to Junior Nawab in not fair. He is yet to prove his competence, ability and maturity. It clearly make people think that the Lady of "Evening in Paris" and "Aradhana" has played her part in this episode though the "Mausam" is not good for the nawab family. Who is doing the "Shikar" and who is "Shikari" is very difficult to make out but the AMAR PREM of the mother is evident in this episode.
Sir Saif can wink at Bachan. But entire indians wink at Saif.People have lost faith in National Awards. They are influenced, and has no bearing on super performance. Many regional film heros have performed much better in the past year.Even in Hindi Saif performance was just average, and many others have out performed him.Any how congratulations!Whether engineered or otherwise, award is an award ,after all! Now at least he has to do some performance in future roles.
Saif's best role till date has been in "Ek Haseena Thi" - a superlative performance and in contrast to another of his great performance in "Dil Chahta Hai". You can see him improving (and maturing) in leaps and bounds. There is hardly any other example of "growing in stature as well as performance". (You see quite a few examples of either mediocre performers gaining the smoothness over time, but remaining at the same level or good performers maintaining their reputation.)
I am sure Saif will keep up with the high standards he has set for himself.

It was said in light spirit, nothing to write home about! Its needless to say that Saif was excellent in the movie, if you know what good acting is! I agree the film was badly made, but all the performances were apt!
When an institution breaks the bonds of its shackles, we all feel this way! Two more awards for light-hearted films like these and we'll all get used to it!
