I use to be a regular rediff movie review reader, but rediff has now driven completely away by writing very biased reviews. In the last 1 year rediff gave bad or so-so reviews for: Lakshya, Swades, Yuva, and Sarkar; each of the film was EXCELLENT. In the same time-frame rediff raved about Main Hoon na, Veer-Zaara, Hum-Tum, and now MPKK. It's pathetic !!! Was there anything new in Hum-Tum? no not at all, compare this movie to Yuva and Yuva wins hands down. Main hoon Na was nothing but a msala non-sense movie but somehow rediff found it better than Lakshya which was more realistic and patriotic. Swades is Shah Rukh at his best (just like he was in Kabhie Ha Kabhie Na or DDLJ), Veer-Zaara is where both Shah Rukh and yash Chopra at the irritating best and rediff finds Veer-Zaara better. But rediff just crossed the line when they gave MPKK and thumbs up and SARKAR a thumbs down. I think all the reviwers have a software program that gives good reviews only if film has Shah rukh, Salmam, Yash Chopra, karan Johar involved in it. IT'S A SHAME !!!

yes nikhil what you written is correct for rediff reviewers shahrukh or salman or karan johars film means it is good others means it is bad they will not see the film is realistic or not mindless films are all for them good movies
Can somebody please point out that this film is "inspired" by Cactus flower for which Goldie Hawn(the role played by katrina in this movie- can u believe it) won an academy award.The movie also had Walter Mathau and the beautiful Ingrid Bergman.

the film is really cool yaaar....... just go... watch.... and enjoy kind of movie........ who need story these days..... we saw movie just for enjyoing....... just chill (who are against salman)
The movie is total crap. Its not even funny its just plain silly the only time I laughed was before the interval in the court scene. Salman cant act at all and katrina is plain dumb.

nooooooooooo it is not crap man !!!! , it is very good film and entrtaining, just chill out man one of the best movies to date in 2005.

may be a crap some people like your kindself, it is kind of dd film one of his best. 1.salman at his everbest.(mr.reliable) 2.sush-good comedy 3.katrina-improving 4. others- arshad varsi,rajpal yadav,beenakak &others all are at their best. i am not a salman fan but liked the film very very much.
What a review? It seems like I should go outright and watch this movie. But the kind of situation Salman miyan has created it'll take some time to go out and watch this movie.
