The national awards are biased - and does not deserve to be called "national" awards any more. Its all dumbs now - who doesn't know anything on cinema - who decides the awards. Thank God icons like Satyajit Ray, Arvindan all belonged to the past. Now, any more anouncement of national awards is just to be dumped as a big joke played by fools. Who cares ??? You play the joke, jokers !!
That the national awards can be brought down so low is a testimony of the incompetency of the selection committee. Saif for all this acting prowess could not said to have put in a acting performance deserving the award.Iam sure there are at least a hundred other actors who have put in far better performances in their respective films than this otherwise OK actor. The Ministry should dissolve the selection committee and invalidate the selection
I always had doubts about integrity for judging performances in filmfare, screen etc., awards when SRK keeps on winning them year after year. But now thinking of saif ali khan winning national award for best male actor????????? Absurd. that too for Hum Tum which is not more than an ordinary film. Or this is present to saif from his BIG YASH Uncle.
Pls try to publish the news correctly. firstly you published that Saif and Ash win the best actor and actross awards. Now you are saying that Kannada Actress Tara won the award. this is making confusion in readers
Saif Ali khan getting the best actor award shows having a family member and contacts at the right places can do wonders for you.The jury should be commended as they saw something in Saif's performance in hum Tum that no one else saw. These awards are becoming a farce with each year and should be discontinued with this kind of shameless favouritism on display.
what a blunder !,but some satisfying thing was some people like tara,Sheela,shyam bengal,ritupurna deserved it and got it , but some one like saif ,oh god! national award is also became filmfare award,Thanks to sharmila tagore (chairman of censor board) scrap this award first as it has lost meaning and it is not motivating the people or recognizing the genuine talent, but it is discouraging the people who really deserve it!
The national awards as usual appear rigged . Saif Khan winning for Hum Tum...either the juy was bribed or they lack taste. I would have agreed on Shahrukh khan winning for Veer Zaara. But..the awards are not worth a mention.
