did you ever have a life-altering experience and if so, how did it change your perspective on life?
I'm asking because, due to a medical heart condition, I've had more cardiac arrests than I dare to count, but I just can't seem to find a way to use this experience to change my life in that big and positive way, that, according to similar stories, gets thrown at you by the media.

Could Constantine's existence be described as one long Near-Death Experience, where he has glimpsed Hell and now feels he needs to redeem himself in order to escape it? Do you see a parallel between him and Neo, whose NDE could have taken place when he fell asleep before following the White Rabbit?
