Shame on entire so-called Bollywood. Shame for having abandoned one of the brightest stars that shone on the Hindi Cinema screen. Shame for not being there for a sick member - specially when she needed it most , when she had no one left to call her own. Great words have flowed in the mighty dialogues of the industry, but no great deed seems to have ever been done. Well miss you, dear Parveen. Well love you always , and well let you give us smiles from those golden performances. Wish you get true love in the next life.
The death of Babi alone and unattended is an eyeopener. She had health problems etc, but the fact that she was lonely and had no family around her accelerated her death. Glamour world has its own dark areas, which remain in the background and surface once in a way. Once you enter the galmour world it gets a total grip on you and cant reamin out of limelight unless u have good support sytems and other engagements to sustain you.People in the limelight currently will do well to remember this sad death of one of their erstwhile collegues
She had a very facinating face, very charming with a sweet smile. I wonder why did,t she married and why kept hereself cut off from the lime lite unlike many yesteryear screen personalities.
Parveen Babi was an indentity in itself. I have always been a great admirer of her beauty and talent. Sadly, she was not exploited the way she really deserved. She should have got the right directors like Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, etc. She was exploited commercially but somewhere i feel that she could have excelled in art films too. Amitabh, with whom she was associated and probably loved too, was and is always a vagabond. He may be a good actor but not the best. I have my reservations about him. Relationships come and go but sadly it took Parveen's life and career. I offer my respects for her departed soul and feel that she always deserved a better life and not just die alone. If i had a wish to ask for, I would like her to come back to earth once again and achieve what she failed to do this time in tinseltown. To me she is a great person with lots of talent and beauty. I will always remember her smile and a very nice person in Parveen Babi. God Bless Her.
Just the other day, me and my pals were having a small discussion as to who was the '70s queen! I'd voted for Parveen and was just wondering where in the world has she disappeared all so sudden! What's more tragic is learning about her last few year's living ways...rest in peace!
