Mogambo ke jaane par fans ko dukh hua.

I was shocked at Amrishji's death. I heard of his death on radio. Even I think its a big loss for the film industry. Shahrukh delivered so many superhit films with him. There on screen chemistry was tremendous. May his soul rest in peace.

Urs truly
Sameeksha.

Amit
tribute to a fine actor ...
by Amit on Jan 14, 2005 11:50 PM

Amrish Ji was indeed one of the finect actors ever in contemporary hindi cinema, and will be remembered for his awsome acting powress over the years. Who could forget those big eyes that send chills down your spine, and that voice. Indeed a great loss, and a generation has ended... he set a standard that will be hard to meet in coming times.

Also, please note a correction that Amrish ji did not star in Mohabbatein as cited in the article.

Yes,Puri ji will always be remembered as one of the Greatest Thespians of all times in the annals of Bollywood History. He had the power to make us weep and cry with his sheer screen presence and acting aplomb! We will always miss him...
