Death of Puri Saheb is a great loss to all of us. Such a versatile actor,why was not casted for charactor role. Had it been done, he would have been a national award winner for best actor many times, like Kamalahassan,or,Mammooty.

The way Shri Amrish Puriji was marketed in Bollywood was mainly and mostly for villain roles, but he would have been a national award winning actor for character role multiple number of times, like Kamalahassan,or,Mammooty, if it had been given for.
I really felt meeting Puriji after seeing the movie " Kaalapaani" of Priyadarshan. How bruital a Mirza Khan he acted in that, and how he could be so bruital jailer, even if it is acting.
That much versatile he is, and by now we lost such a versatile actor for ever. My hearty condolence tohis family.
His death was a shock for me and will be a shock for a lot of people, i m sure india and hindi film industry have now got an empty void which will never be filled, our condolences to the great actor
it is indeed very very sad & disheartening to realise that a gem of a person & versatile personality is no more with us.he has always lived the character he played on the screen.actor like him come only once in a while to entertain us & go away leaving behind a bagful of memories!may his soul rest in peace!
I salut amrish puri's acting career. He is one of the best actor among my listed hindi film actor. His role in the Virasat was he most beautiful role. god bless all the shanti to his spirit. Regards, Mandar
I am very sad when i heard about Mr. Amrish Puri. He was a great villean in the bollywood we will never get other Amrish Puri again. He was such a wonderful man we all will miss him in our future. I like his all movies.
