I saw this movie's trailer on a DVD and the storyline resembles the tamil movie "Dum Dum Dum" - instead of saying, I wrote the script at night and shot the film during the day, the director could have said," I watched Dum Dum Dum during the night and shot the same story against a hindi backdrop.
Mr. Imtiaz, your "inspiration" for the story does not lie in meeting a girl at a restaurant or coffe shop but it lies in a Souht Indian Movie called "Dum Dum Dum", starring Madhavan ( Ghar Jamaai fame) and Jyothika( younger sister of actress Nagma). Be brave in accepting your story inspiration source, its not only you who copy the movies there are more talented and established directors who do the same "Very Often".
