who cares about oscars? oscars is committe setup by americans with american views for american movies. who the hell cares if an Indian movies gets an oscar or not. we just need to be making movies to the likes of our people to the likes of film commities in India.
Probably after 50 yrs of independence, India has still to wake up to the fact the the 'White' man's cretification is not sifnoficant anymore! Oscar's is pretty much a Hollywood fare with some Intl. categories thrown in to get a bigger audience which in turn works to market Hollywood even better!
So stop looking westwards for some awards & recognition. Let us judge our own movies & culture ourselves for heaven sakes!
y shud indian movies run for oscars. india is where 1 in every 6 of the world live. if india approves a movie, that shud be the best in the world. we dont need any white skin to review the quality of our movies. let those whites run for indian awards. india!!! u r the world, its time u dictate the world.
Please accept my big THANKYOU for being really considerate about telling me that the little kid does make it back home in the end. This is really helpful because now I wont worry so much when I am watching the movie.I will feel happy and content knowing how the movie is going to end.
Looks like you were lucky enough to watch the movie before a lot of people did. Why dont you keep your views to yourself ?
