I hope the appreciative review u wrote for the movie King Kong , is not under the influence of any childish exuberance . Big budgets & a bagful of cast doesn't always a thrilling movie make .
The last week every reviewer worth his/her free ticket , especially the female 1s had gone ga-ga bout Ek Ajnabi . Amitabh Bachchan may b ageing gracefully but his swagger & sharp suits don't neccessarily make a good movie especially since he ws trying so hard 2 hide his wheezing . A movie needs a good script & a proper pace more than background scores or a surprise turn .
I can only pray tht the plot of King King stays racy & nail-biting till the end , doesn't sag anywhere in between . Else it wud be 150 bucks wasted .
Hi, The movie is just a worth watch movie for its technical brilliance not for the way of story telling. Infact there are several flaws in the original Kong story, I thought new movie would atleast concern about them. The story is set in early 1900s. If King-Kong is 8th wonder, what about the whole dinosaur family living in 20th century? Isnt it a wonder? If kong is just a massive ape, nobody saw a living dinosaur whether small or big. Should they deserve to become 8th wonder rather than Kong? In the original Kong film, Kong clung on a top of the multi-storeyed building and did acrobatic fight with the planes which came to kill. Many physicist ridiculted the idea of massive (its weight is supposed to be in several tons) kong doing acrobats on the top of the building since the building could have fallen down with a small jump. However, New movie did the same mistake. If u put these flaws behind, the movie is best of recent times. Its utterly nonsensical to compare speilberg and Jackson as the later could show only technical brilliance in his movies. Whatsoever, the movie is worth watching once & kids will enjoy definetly.
The movie is worth watching but certainly not a masterpiece as the review makes it out to be.
Some scenes seems exagerated like the natives of the island are made out to be the most ugliest and uncivilized as possible. Very much as a westerner's point of view of the rest of the world !!!.
I would like to DISAGREE with the reviewer. The film could never create even a minute of interest. Graphics are overly used. There is way too much gore in the movie. The director tested my patience with such a long movie. Its high time reviewers stop praising a movie just because it is a \"Hollywood\" movie. Reviews are supposed to be impartial.
