Why does Aditya Chopra wish to destroy Yashraj Films's image?
by Sudarshan on Dec 09, 2005 09:57 PM

Yashraj Films is known world-wide for the excellent quality of its films.I love both Yashraj Films and Aditya Chopra..they are my icons.I don't understand why he wants to destroy the superb image himself and Yashraj Films have built up over decades by making such cheap and outrageous films.Does Adi Chopra have a Mallika Sherawat starrer in mind?? Adi...why are you doing all this???

I recently saw the promos for the film , and , it was SO superficial and only skin-deep. The expressions were all plastic and god.the whole things seemed v. put on.. thnx for enlightening us film viewers who might have returned from the theatres with tears in our eyes for the wrong reason(the film was so disappointing) . Also, KUDOS for your honest and no-no-nonsense approach.

Total Crap movie....
by Shalabh Katdare on Dec 09, 2005 08:24 PM

The movie started..and i read the CBFC Certificate stating only 2832 reel length...! That itself suggested me that the movie is hardly of an hour n half...(A normal hindi movie is 4000plus in reel length)

In entire movie...Nikki...(Tanishha)...has just acted wierdly and just showed some skin....
Seriously....if ur a star's babe...doesnt mean u can also act...
Her acting seriously needs a break...possibly few tuition classes at her very own sis, Kajol :))

Uday Chopra...as usual trying for another solo movie...but he simply doesnt fit into that "Hero" category...
I feel..he is best as a supporting character...

All in all...a pure waste of money...
Since it was a Yash Chopra Banner movie...the cinema hall was house full...but i dont see this movie going beyond monday....

For me...it was total crap!...
My word: Dont watch it...Go for Ek Ajnabee instead....

A troubled viewer
Have some mercy on the viewers!
by A troubled viewer on Dec 09, 2005 07:23 PM

One can't really blame the budding actress for doing what she's done in the film because, Hindi Film heroines still believe, when everything fails, some stripping on the canvas will salvage their careers.

One serious concern is, people would like to see movies with some content, orginality( that's a BIG word) and SENSE along with mindless stripping. Oh yes and if at all shedding clothes is the only MOTTO and USP of the film, one would expect the heroine to be good-looking atleast to a certain extent. I agree considering oneself desirable does wonders to the self-esteem but has anyone told the leading lady of the film, she is not even remotely close to being tolerable, leave aside desirable.

As for the hero,I sincerely think balding heroes should think of staying behind the camera.Sad looking actors are not a very pleasant sight on the big screen, since their sad appearances only get magnified all the more along with their pathetic performances. This is true all the more when the film has nothing more to offer, except skin.

The directors should have some pity on the JUNTA who have to tolerate the crap that is dished out in the name of entertainment. Have mercy...puhleez!!

Neal N Nikki

Its a pity to see that now banners like Yashraj too have to resort to skin and lip locking flicks thinking it will be a hit: lately all its movies are promoted that way: 21 kisses in Neal N Nikki the whole world knew of it even before it would have been shot. Dhoom II is being tom-tomed as having Ash in bikini ! Such a pity to see that makers of Lamhe, Chandani, etc having nothing new to offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading the review, I still can't figure out what the movie is about. I can only tell that it has a lot of skin.

So many words written, yet all bakwas.
