I thought the movie was a pretty good film, and I definitely believe Jacky Chan did a great job play both roles (not to mention how gorgeous Concubine Li is). The film itself, however, seems to be lacking many critical components and leaves me feeling unsatisfied for it seemed incomplete. The first disappointment, which hopefully someone can clarify for me, was why Jack left Concubine Li in the end. Im first confused by Jacks reasoning for saying that he was not General Meng Yiis there a symbolic meaning behind this? My first interpretation was that Jack was still General Meng Yi, except in another time, for how else could he have such dreams and be able to fight with his sword as well as he did? Then all a sudden he says hes not him causing Concubine Li to wait there forever for a person who will never come. I dont understand why Jack did not try to get back into that place to get her. The myth in the movie is also unclear in that the master Jack encounters says that Jack proved the myth to be true that in 2000 years the General would return. This shows us that Jack is the returning General, Contnues..
I am crazy to see my favourate star Jackie Chan in his lattest movie MYTH. No one will get bored with his film, he got the magic of action as well as comedy. I wish him great sucess. I have seen all his films. you are the only one real HERO i have ever seen in my life.
i've been reading a lot about the movie Myth,in articles by journos in "bollywood",they seem to be picking on Mallika,(her role is short.Her costumes and deriding her )How many Indian actresses have been featured in foreign movies.People,give her a break!she was chosen for something the casting people saw in her.If you don't like her in the movie blame the people who chose her.Aishwarya rai is prased to the skies,she has not been a big success.Motivate them not run them down.The cinema industry in India want an ideal woman,no kisses,nudity or a mistake in moment of weakness,but would praise a hollywood skin flick saying the plot is taut!grow!!!
