Austrian Government is putting every effort to promote Bollywood films because Indian films do not deal with violance and Sex as Holywood film does.
Recent Austrian television gave a report about Hollywood productions. Main theme was that majority of Americans do not wish to see violance and Sex any more in Films. 70% of films with violance and Sex are floping.
1 week ago, "Monsson wedding" was shown free of charge in an open theater in Vienna. News papers in Austria write long positive reports on Hindi fims with photos. On radio, Hindi and punjabi films are broadcasted. All these has created quite a bit of interest amongst youths and average Austrians. On Internet one finds keen intrest in learning Hindi in order to understand the film without having to read the subtitles!
Perhaps, Bollywood can learn a lesson. India is unique in every way. This uniqueness can be presented in films which not only Indians will love but also rest of the world can enjoy them.
