I like Aishwarya because she is equally admired and adored by both men and women alike. That is no wonder she was in Times and Forbes list of 100 most influential people in the world. She is truly a very caring, warm, genuine, sincere and friendly woman. She represents women power and pride of being such a successful and talented Indian Actress. I wish her the best of luck, health, wealth, happiness and prosperity. May she have a long life. She is so nice and real when you meet her you are really inspired and when you see that she does so much for humanity, good causes and has donated her eyes to the eye bank of India you are touched that she is so selfless and modest even being so popular and loved.
This lady has dominated the headlines. There must be something magnetic and stunning about this woman, that she can dominate headlines everywhere and everytime. All she does is news. No wonder our other actors are jealous and try to pull her down. Any way kudos to Ash for upholding our iamage abroad. At least India is known for something other than floods/disasters or snakecharmers.
It is clear that Ash is well recognised abraod as the face of india, not alone films. We will be churlish if we dont accept that. Set our prejudices apart and you will see that the girl has all the wualities of an ideal representative abroad.
The insatiable craze of the media to run after the beauty queen and turning her into a demi-acting goddess cannot save any of her movies from crashing at the box-office. Ash's situation is like one of our yesteryear stars Kabir Bedi. He was handsome, he was smart, looked good on screen. Acted in many hindi films and made forays into many Hollywood movies but he never was known as an actor. Long story short he couldn't act. Recently Ash's new movie Bride and Prejudice released both in UK and India. There were great expectations from this film which was supposed to catapult the former beauty queen into Hollywood scene. But that was not to be, the movie nose dived after the first week of euphoria.
Please stop writing articles on non-actors and actresses and cover real actresses like TABU, RANI, KONKONA SEN or moviemakers like MIRA NAIR, NAGESH KUKUNOOR. There is no dearth of talent in our country. And of course, please continue reporting about the modelling contracts that Aishwarya is signing up... we like to see her face on the commercials... she is beautiful...
What is this fixation of all media over Aishwarya Rai being a great actress. To top it all now she is giving advice to aspiring actress, is she kidding!! No doubt she is beautiful, she has acheived the top ranks in the fashion and beauty world today. But acting .. nah that's was never her forte and never will be. Take her filmograph for instance.. She has done till date some 30 odd films including the regional ones. Among these how many can one remember for her acting skills. Well let's see Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas and .. and and... that's all. Both these films were gems, but wait the credit for this should not go to Aishwarya but the director - Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This is one director who can turn anything to gold, can take any face from the crowd and extract the best out of them which is evident in each of his films - Khamoshi, HDDCS, DEVDAS and now BLACK. Be it Nana Patekar, Manisha Koirala, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, SRK, Madhuri or the great Amitabh. So where is the Aishwarya magic then. Every passing day you hear big announcements about a new Aishwarya movie coming out or getting launched and few days post-release the movie sinks without a trace.
what advice is the artical talking about? its just another bland interview like the many others she has given.....i think the only question not asked to aishwarya is how she cuts her toe nails!! give the lady a break
