I know a real life "Iqbaal", curretnly frustrated with politics in Indian cricket and just about to leave his life long passion...an outstanding fast bowler awaits for a fair chance, Is there a naseeruddin shah who can help him out? Is there any hope left for him? email me if you can help him out...
what is this sagara sangamam is malayalam movie yaaa.. stupid.. it's one of the greatest telugug fil ever and vishwanath is greatest telugu as wellas indian director..
I have watched all of your movies so far and except for Hyderabad Blues 2, I have liked every one of them. And I am sure Iqbal too will add on to my list of favourites soon. I do have one request though, just do not ever catch the 'commercial' bug! Beware, I am sure its tempting, but always be an original and do not even think of making a 'regular' B'wood fare! Its nice to see a good refreshing Indian movie from time to time. I think the last decent one that I saw was Mr. and Mrs. Iyer. I haven't been able to finsih watching any of the recent hindi flicks from start to finish! I usually end up popping an asprin or two very soon if do manage to sit thru the entire ordeal! Good Luck and hope to see much more of your good work in the future!
i really like the topics on which Nagesh makes his films....hydrabad blues is one of my favourite.....i will definately watch this movie becoz it is directed my favourite director Nagesh.

I agree.
I mean look at how much directors from the south have contributed to Indian & world cinema!!
Mani ratnam, Ram gopal verma, Nagesh, Balachandar, Sankar, manoj shyamalan [pondicherry origin]...and the list goes on!!
Instead of creating banners [in association with underworld money] that turn out kitsches of actors dancing and running around trees..., south indians helped advance the movie industry both aesthetically and technologically..and did make a big difference after all!!
May be its the sambar, May be its the rasam.. but the north indian shahi food sure aint making directors of merit ;) !!
p.s: Dont even try claiming & pulling bengali film makers into the bollywood bunch. it is an industry and a class of its own that knows how to respect movies from other cultures.
