I would have enjoyed the review better had it been in a simpler language. Ever heard of KISS(Keep It Short and Simple).
If the author would like taking some feedback, let me put these.
- There are a lot of adjectives used unnecessarily. - Expletives are vile languaged. - Smirks are sardonic in nature. - 'the ignominy of his filmography increasingly ...' I found this sentance to be ambiguous. - Vilest is not the superlative of vile. - A simple word meaning walk/wade has been replaced by traipses. - 'This flags when we move, out of conveniently dark ..... isn't as moody or atmospheric.' is another interesting sentence. Here the reader has been asked to do an action. But what he should find or expect to find has not been provided. Neither does the following sentances provide a clue. - The whole review was more of bits and pieces and din't have the common connecting string. - It would be good, if the author gives his verdict first and then elaborated on the film.
However, readers need to be thankful to the author for having taken the pains to bring to us this review. I know how difficult is it to write a 1000 words article. Thankyou.
This is a very good movie. I like Anil's Acting he live in his character, so he is capable to do the role perfectly. the msg from the is that i f you lost some one, whom you love beyond your life. You can do any thhisg for that someone.So anil did inthis movie for his dead wife.
I am happy that the critic has given a decent review (barring paheli , sarkar) but this time i think i agree with Raja sen review.
This film is such a class in itself that it wont be a hit, but neverthless its a good film. Anil Kapoor is the ONLY ONE who can enact such a role of Ravi, Boman Irani got the best lines and his character excels when he eats food at home made by his wife.
aha, its crush or respect, nandana sen? and what bout jealous boyfriend whoz right in his own ways, its a no nonsense film...I think the whole movie speaks one language and that is the best job...the theme (never told directly in film) but what audience understands that law sees no emotions but then you feel sympathy for Ravi is well done job and i think Jiji Philips has done a great job, he is here to stay with such mature subjects.
Why did Ram Gopal Varma pen this concept? that too a name like that?? well RGV self indulgent but truely honest person as he is goes ahead and does it and thats why he is The RamGopal Varma for nothing...
Wow, Indian Cinema has really come to age and yes...original and more realistic...Factory has yet again done an unusual film, neverthless hit, but a good film.
