Patriotism of an Indian is measured by his interest in contibuting to the development of the nation by whatever way he can, and not by conducting a quiz on STUPID Bollywood movies !! Rediff, please stop this kind of things ! You go to Cannes for checking what kind of costumes Aiswarya Rai and Mallika Sherwat wears , but not to watch the good movies they show. India is not just revolving around Bollywood. Please keep this kind of childish topics a bay, otherwise you will lose the interest of people !!
It is not pleasant to see that Mangal Pandey is being described as the first freedom fighter of India. I don't want to undermine his efforts, but calling him the first freedom fighter is no doubt an insult to the great fighters of the Chuar Uprisings (1766), the uprisings of Moamarias (Jorhat/Rangpur: 1769-99 ),Chakmas (Chittagong: 1776-89) by the oldest known inhabitants of this great nation. The indigenous population (popularly known as "tribals") of this country has long been taken for granted. In the Narmada valley they are flushed out like rats from the land they had lived on for centuries for "the greater common good" of the nation (a dam on Narmada river in order to feed rodents and insects in the FCI godowns). They are uprooted from their rural domicile to take refuge in slums of the cities running the risk of being shot by the police for crapping in public places - like three slum-dwellers were few years back in New Delhi. And now media is being used to delete the truth about their contribution as the first freedom fighters and to brain wash people to believe that the Sepoy Mutiny was the 1st freedom movement and Mangal Pandey was the 1st freedom fighter.
This is the dumbest quiz I have seen and has nothing to do with epic gyan anyway. The morons who designed this quiz have no gyan anyway. The quiz is about bollywood films except one or two questions.
Answering questions on films doen not indicate the patriotism quotient. I opened the quiz hoping for questions on the freedom struggle of our forefathers
your quiz is senseless as how can you say how much your patriotic by just answering the questions who played what in films,quiz shld not only test your knowledge but improve your knowledge ,dont you think if you had put some good questions on freedom movement or freedom fighters who are not known to much of people ,would be really usefull and you would been much appreciated
