Althogh I am not much of an Amir Khan praiser, it is quite evident from the box office results of Mangal Pandey that AMIR IS BOMBED. And after all that Bullshitting that he had done with that Phirangi lady, I thing he deserves it.
definitly a class act by aamir and tobby,it is fact that enough material is not available to know about mangal pandey's life but it was not required in the film.it will be foolish to compare it with lagaan.
Hi Folks... I love Aamir Khan..I've loved him since Qayamat se Qayamat Tak..but sadly he's picked up a wrong film this time..he acts well but the script and stuff isn't great..it aint his fault..he'll always give 110 percent..I can guarantee that!!Anyways everyone makes mistakes..I'm sure Aamir will be back with a blockbuster soon!!And yea Aamir please act in atleast four movies a year!! i had not expected much from the film hence i am satisfied. however aamir's role was not looking that powerful and toby stephens occupied much of the canvas as compared. he was impressive too. the film looked more like a folk story not some patriotic stuff and would have done better if it were publicised as some folk story .
It simply does not matter whether Mangal Pandey shall be a hit or flop.
Indian audience is not used to the appreciation of serious films such as these,what they want is just masala movies with lousy songs,sleaze and monkey dancing.
The performance of all cast is simply noteworthy.
It is commendable that your efforts are genuine in providing serious movie lovers with a movie on the legacy of Indian freedom fighters simply forgotten by todays' disoriented Indian youth.
Your efforts shall not go in vain.You are already successful as a respected actor and shall continue to embrace success hereafter.
as usual superb,intense,mind blowing.no one else would do justice to this character except him.his whole look(long hair,moustach)shows his complete dedication towards the film.all the best aamir
MangalPandey not upto expectation. If you give this movie after 4years of hype being made its waste of our wait thier money time and strength. Its OK but not a film which was expected to be after it took 4years for aamir to act in it. Its was overhyped. Its an average film adn Toby Stephens did thousand times better acting than AAmir.
