Here, I wasn to discuss a straight forward question that why mangal pandey was flopped. Do you find anything flop thing in the film. I want this film either to be released again or to be made again. Film is a HIT. It can't be flopped.

Q,If the Britishers hadn`t introduced the cartridges,then he(Mangal Pandey) would have remained a sepoey killing other innocent Indians for Britishers????????
Or else
Q, If the catridges introduced contained no animal skin then also he would have continued killing people????
How can a sepoy ,who revolts against the introduction of animal fats to the cartriges can be considered to be a GREAT FREEDOM FIGHTER?? I think his stories should be ban bcoz i think that he was more interested about his RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES rather than the "INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA"

if Britishers would have not misbehaved with Gandhiji than he would have been advocating there in throughtout his life. We are the indians who has got independence so easily this is why we have a natural tendency to blame others on any ground

jis time mangal pandey nay apni aawaz brithishers kay khilaf uthai thi, us time koi aaisa karnay kay baray main soch bhi nahi sakta....kyu kii aaisa kaam sirf wahi kar sakta hai jo KALEJA rakhta ho.............aur mangal pandey nay woh kar dikhaya.

It's everbody's own veiw rather u can say that it depends upon how much history an individual has read or have the knowledge of it. As I know He was the not in the influence of the bhang but his anger was due to the relegion, which has only make him to get angry up that extent that he could do this work which has been written in the history.
Sick Mind"Mukherji" Whenever i read such stories from our own people i start wondering how deep is brtish influence on our minds. People like Mr Mukherji to apease Western "intellectuals" can go to any extent of absurdness. It can happen only in INDIA some of us just love to bring down our heros be it Shivaji, Maharana pratap or Laxmibai.My soul bleeds whenever i hear such comments, i would request people like Mukherji's , Romila Thapar's nd co. to leave our heros alone.I would like to advice these pepole to learn something from USA they even go to the extent of justifying vietnam invasion nd and come what may the back their army to the hilt.
I saw the movie and i thought it was great, the i don't know to much about Mangal Pandey but he seem like he was a hero, the music moved with them movie and fit the story line together. like the end where they played Mangal Mangal, which mean be blessed be blessed, a wicked inspirational song.
I don't know too much about Mangal Pandey, but I just want to say only one thing. I am unable the understand why to judge a person or incident on the basis of a book. My straight forward approach is that instead of involving in this topic emotionally we should go through facts and figures, if these go in favour of writer it is Ok, if it doesn't than there is no meaning of trusting on the book.
