duh! they thought people wont know that its a rip off from "the eye" coz it aint a hollywood movie..its insult to yours and my intelligence when they try to pass it off as an original idea..
Hi Urmila!!! Iam a big and loyal fan of urs. I am from Andhra and Iam still mad abt the movies u made in Telugu. They still are as refreshing as they were before. U have really evolved as a finest actress over the period of time by doiung very wonderful roles which prove that u r versatile. This new movie "Naina" wishfully shud do well and bring laurels to u. When compared to others in Bollywood u r a very low profile actress in Bollywood but still does a lot by baggin and doing wonderful roles. Who else can get roles like what u got-- Rangeela, Satya, Kaun, Pinjaar, Booth and now Naina!!! But i really wonder why bollywood industry has not recognised u properly. U have not even bagged a single FILMFARE award despite giving so many stellar performances. Bollywood!! think abt it!!! Bollywood really needs to take Urmila Matondkar into its good books!! Becoz she really is an actress worth emulating!!!! Urmila !!! ur loving fan Chandra Shekar Kunigiri
what can u expect from bollywood other then remakes.but the prob here is that....the director wont admit that the movie is ripped from the Hong Kong film "the eye" directed by the tang brothers.this is clearly copyright violations.the director should be sued!!!!!!!!!!
why cant bollywood films come up with their own ideas.the latest of all "naina" is a total ripped from Hong Kong based movie "the eye".to prove my point i can tell u the storyline rite here n see it for urself.stick to ur love stories, thats what u r good at.at least acknowledge that the movie is a remake from the original.
I think the story is great and very fresh. It is a great change from the usual sleazy thrillers and horror films. I am dying to see Urmila after a long break !! I hope this film puts the box - office on fire and performs better than "Bhoot". Urmila has always been different in all her movies and this film will mark a new sunrise in her career.
Everyone here seems to be of the opinion that "the eye" is a japanese movie. Well, its a chinese movie from hongkong. I rented the DVD but didn't have the guts to sit thru the entire movie. I was too petrified to finish watching it. If this hindi movie is half as scary as that one, then the indian director deserves kudos.
