The Indian film industry should immediately apologize for the parts Mr Musharraf found offensive in Veer Zaara. Given the amount of hospitality showered on him, Musharraf is the most important person India has seen in a long time and as Pakistani president, he has the right to edit hindi film content, even if they are banned in Pakistan.
Musharraf's displeasure with Veer Zaara is illogical. There has been so many movies where Pak bashing is shown. Why this displeasure has not come at that time. And above all. This movie has been a hit not only in India but in Pakistan as well.
It seems Mush gone crazy, he better concentrate to eliminate the terrorism sponsered by ISI and Pakisthan's internal matter. Who is he to suggest aboutVeer Zaara story. I hope if Mr. Yash Chopra has any self-respect he should turn down the dinner request, unless he is hoping to receive some award from Musharaf govt.
what big deal..the movie is not about pakistan it was about some ppl who dint like sharuk khan in the movie...it never showed pakistan in bad light.......musharuff fellow is crazy
It's sad that Mr. Mushshrraf found it wrong. In the movie Mr. Chopra was wise enough to show that whether it's in India or Pakistan power and money works more than anything else. So Mr. Chopra didn't want say that Pakistan is bad. But in both countries we've same probs.
Musharaff must be crazy to even spend time expressing his displeasure to Yash Chopra whereas Veer Zarra is probably the only movie which has shown Pakistanis in a good light. A little corruption and power politics has been shown - and if he can deny that, he's totally nuts.
