Mumbai Express better than Munnabhai???????

The film has a very low production value. The story is the biggest flaw. The screenplay isn't gripping at all and the narration slows down at times.

The unnecessary graphics could have been avoided and if at all they were so much necessary...they could have been done well and not shoddily... The quality of graphics is very low.

Today when hindi films have made so much progress technically, this film clearly shows the standard of regional films. It was in films of 60s and 70s that filmakers would put a camera inside a car, employ some people to shake the car from outside and would run a film in the background so as to give a moving effect to the the car. If a film-maker like Kamal Hasan does the same in a film made in 2005, I would say that this is utter rubbish!

Moreover, since the film has been shot in DV, so the picture quality is low, grainy, blur, and very dark.

Mumbai express is a absolute crap..!!! It is in no way superior to Munnabhai...!! It fails in all departments of filmmaking...

Mr. Kamal Hasan, this poor production quality might be OK for regional films but not for Bollywood. Dont try to sell your sub-standard product in Hindi cinema.

Better than munnabhai?

Let people decide that. Kamal claimed Vasoolraja was better than Munnabhai in an interview to Sun TV, now, as usual, he has come up with a totally different statement. BTW Sanjay Dutt's performance was vastly superior to Kamal's performance, mainly because Sanjay was unassuming and had no constraints like Kamal had.

dear -whoever who has written the article and kamals interview,
i scanned the whole interview twice to find out any place where kamal would have said that mumbai express is better than munnabhai, but i could not find them , this north -south divide can be dispensed atleast now , and your north indian interviwer's condecension for any south talent can be dispensed with atleast now ,i am sure u will concur that our times have come a long way from the irritating slanderous humour of Mehmood which caricatured a very minute section of the south indian ...
when u are interviewing somebody like kamal who has a stature in films which would be eons and light years ahead of the raw brain that ur interviewer has, what one requires is reverence , all through the interview one can really see a smug smirk like arrogance in the interviwers' language ... we expect something better than this from an international website like rediff rather than stoop down to crass parochialism.
