Its a good thing pirating laws arent tight.I forget the name, but the Cate Blanchett, Keanau Reeves starring movie, with the tarot card is well, copied. And the killer is Himanshu, atleast it was the principal in the English version. The next time Bollowood begs us viewers not to see cd's and other pirated material...in true Chandra style we can say: Excuse me! Kya re? Yeh bhashan nahin jamta re! It really is so hard to believe, our movie makers cant plough old and modern Indian writing for a believable story. And if u take Karan Johar, u will see that original stories are popular too.
Hopefully someday bollywood people come up with their own ideas and make a movie atleast watchable on VCD. Why would someone think of casting Bipasha in a role donned by Kate blanchett who won an oscar for the same movie. If hollywood people start sueing these guys bollywood will have to shutdown.
the movie is worth a watch and yes! it does send a shiver down your spine. having said that, one has to admit that the movie is disturbing rather than spooky; probably due to the way humans are shown as being more dangerous than ghosts -- almost to the point that one begins to feel that people are better of dead..
rakht as described is nothing more than a total remake of hollywood movie "THE GIFT".guys go see "THE GIFT"couz i am sure rakht cant be better than that.and bollywod film makers please stop copying and give us some fresh stories.cut the crap and give us some orginiality.i think bollywood ship is gonna sink soon if that continues.
