whats the deal with you guys, just cause a movie has indians in it doesn't mean it has to get nominated for oscars or the golden globe. There have been waay better movies this year and theres no way B&P will be nominated for either. Its just a mediocre movie, not every movie is award material. Deal with it. Get over it.
Bride and prejudice was no comparison to Bend it.... Trying to glorify Amritsar,Gurinder Chadha has actually made a joke of Amritsar.The film showed as if people in India especially Amritsar only sing and dance and have no connection to the reality, which was a disgusting portrayal of Indian culture.She is better of making films about Indians living abroad rather than about people and culture of India.
when the movie was doin well...u guys cudnt take it...u were writin malicious reports...even yur film ratings were not sayin tht bride n prejudice had done well...better than dhoom even! now that it has slipped u guys r back to being yur bad self again....PLEASE STICK TO CONSTRUCTIVE JOURNALISM...AND TAKE PRIDE THAT AN INDIAN HAS ACHIEVED WHAT NO "KHAN "...SUPERSTAR HAS ACHIEVED ...FOR SURE!
UK number1? I don't think this rubbish movie had ever been number one in UK. Last week we went to see bride in Swindon, there were hardly 20 people in the auditorium, while in the same compound, 6 other movies were running housefull.one of them is Wimledon. I reckon the UK no1 place of Bride is only an Indian media hype. I humbly suggest you to collect original data befor writing something. any way happy to know that Bride and Prejudise is the biggest flop of the year:)
