Nirupa Roy with her commanding personality was an asset to the Hindi film industry. It's quite unfortunate that a highly talented actor's contribution to the entertainment industry was not given that kind of importance in the media. I want to know how many of the so called heroes who played the role of son paid triburute to this lady. Did Amitabh Bachan attend her funeral? How many of the current actresses know about Nirupa's talent. I don't think there is any one apart from Ms. Sulochana who can match the role of a mother today. All we have today is a modern mother full of heavy make-ups and all painted up.
