To Poornima, I am very sorry to tell u that u have made a wrong analysis of the performance of the diwali releases of the malayalam film industry. I have seen all the four malayalam movies released during diwali. But when I read ur article, i was surprised to find that the movies which were good and i would say made decently, were the one u rated as rejected by malayalee audience. Before discussing about each film, let me ask u what is ur role as a journalist when u analyse these movies. Just to check how much the producer made from his movie? Then u r just an accountant clerk. That is not the correct way to evaluate a movie. U should look also from the aesthetic point of view. U have a role in drawing audience towards good movies. Every body in the world including Mr. Mohanlal knows that Natturajavu is a stupid movie. But it is a hit which i agree. But by just mentioning that it is a hit u r confusing the audience between good and bad. Kazcha is a movie which has changed the way malayalam movies are made. And thus came movies like Kathaavaseshan and Perumazhakalam which are very solid in the story and execution.
