Yes, Mr. Varma you are right. It is irritating for us to watch your films too. All of your recent movies are completely lifted from hollywood movies and a very bad job by ramu. Bhoot was one of the worst movies anybody can make. I cannot believe that he has the audacity to call it the most scariest movie ever made. So, is vaastushaastra. Ram gopal varma is the most overrated director. All he does is talk talk and no action. After company all the movies he has produced by his so called stupid factory and the movies he has directed. Naach is one of the boring and pathetic movie is made by him. Anthra mali looks like a bhoot with her stupid dances. And to top it all he says that he cannot make telugu movies because only mumbai can watch the kind of movies he makes.God save mumbai!! He does not realize that some of the best movies in india are made in south india. Mr Ramu cannot cannot handle it if people are indifferent to his movies. Well, Mr.Varma get used to this attitude from people. Stop your non-stop nonsense and make some good movies.
Regarding Ramu Sir's comments on Sholay's Gabbar Singh:
I would not say people liked Gabbar Singh. I think people are fascinated by Gabbar Singh's style and eccentricities but may not actually like him. They may watch him from a distance but would not want to spend a day with him.
I, however, strongly agree that style works better than story and Ramu is doing his best to save the rotten Indian film industry.
Naach like RGV is ahead of its time. I had goosebumps after the first scene. I think RGV works on a different plane of thought. Something that very few people will appreciate today. But this will be looked upon in the future. definitely. One comment though. I think he understands the dynamics of the industry very very well. He, i believe, has purposely messed up the last sequence in Naach to throw it to the audience.... as if to scream... 'This is what u wanted... this is what i will give u... ', rather than churning out what he'd really have liked. He is fed up with the mediocrity of the audience and the industry alike. Ofcourse, i would love to hear his version of this post.... :)
Ramu makes a mockery of the NRI love stories and rightly so.Just how far can a script(a redundant love story) be dragged. Our film makers need to be conscious of reality. And ramu leads the way.
He makes no sense ...... as if story doesn't matter a movie begins with a story . Story combined with a strong dialouges makes a movie. I don't think RGV is a great film maker. Has he delivered any super hits?? He is a good business man ie making movies at a low cost etc and by the way this year none of his films have worked.....
Ramu is one of the unconventional guys for indian cinema. cinema is not about story-telling, its about capturing the moments in our lives which we almost ignore to look under a microscope. moments in ramu's movies would offer a chance to relate yourself to a circumstance. a movie can start with a sunrise and end with a sunset, there's plenty to to tell in between
