yuva is a youth film...with happening stars like kareena, rani ,ajay, vivek, abhishek, esha..... above all this is mani ratnam movie? music is awesome a.r rahman did it fabulous job again???? i,m sure this movie will be worth watching
Mani Ratnam film is always special. No body knows even 10% of the story even though the shooting of the movie started 1 1/2 years back. Mani's social conscious movies were all really great and Hope yuva will be no exception. All other movies this summer are kind of Masala Movies catering to the cheap tastes of Bollywood ppl. So Yuva is the movie to watch this summer.
Summer is surely hot with films of good directors. Yuva and Lakshya are definitely must ( both are youth oriented films and of great directors). Iam dissapointed with the music of lakshya(not even close to DCH) but sure film wuld be gr8. YUVA is gonna be superb(Music is mind-blowing).HUM-TUM might be a comic relief but seems to have same old love story. Dev, Run, Dewaar & Aan doesnt seem to be promising though worth watching one time. Good luck to all films.
actor, actress etc.. may raise the hype about a film, but it's finally going to be the directors. In that way farhan akhtar, mani ratnam & madhur are the people to watch out.farhan is just a film old & also dch was fun-loving film.so his tryst with serious stuff needs to be proved.madhur is also a couple of films old.So needs a couple more to brand him a good director.but the veteran is mani & his films 've been winning awards for something or other constantly. Also very few can match the finesse of mani.so yuva is my choice.
They all look good! I'm probably going to see all of them. Some however, I probably won't see. LAKEER looks stale. And the songs suck. Hum Tum - whatever its good points - is a remake of an English movie (AGAIN!). Also, in some of the song promos, its quite obvious that the GORAS IN THE BACKGROUND ARE WATCHING!!! Why didn't the director tell them not to look, to act normal? In one promo, there's a guy standing RIGHT BEHIND Saif as our hero's singing to Rani. And he seems to have a smirk on his face! Such promos, showing a film obviously made without much consideration, do not bode well! But let's wait!
Of all the films, the one's I want to watch most are
1) Deewaar 2) Lakshya 3) Yuva 4) Dev 5) Gayab 6) Murder at Sri Krishna
We'll see how ol' KAATHIL Salman Khan does in Garv and Abhishek does in Run.
