By not accepting the offer from Coke, Mammotty has once again proved that he is indeed an odd entity out among the Bachans of the world. Capitalizing on ones popularity at the expense of the social interest is no less an offense than proverbial cheating. People would love the decision!
I`ld have ignored the CPIM`S dialogues and accepted the offer because for the plain reason it makes great business sense; the ad doesnt impose conditions i cannot accept; I would raise my own questions after modelling for coke ad
As for Mammootty he has starred in stupid scripted and directed films and he had a right to criticise after that; he didnt ignore THOSE offers
Okay, if at all these comments reach Mammooty, I dont know if they do,
I am ssure Mamoorty would appreciate Viswanathan`s pt ofview a lot more than the party to which he belongs
Dear Rediff, Mammootty has made it clear that he has not signed any contract with Coke. If your reporter believes he has evidence to the contrary, at least mention that. Please don't become a part of the rumour mill that churns out many such sensational stories.
In kerala both the political parties playing for political gain to encash the current election showing plachimada issue. These people are never took action against the sand lobby or effectively done anything for preserving ground water aswellas forest. All these political parties never tried to bring industry by saying environmental reason but still kerala came to draught situation, even tamilnadu is well utilizing kerala water for their state(Good sense and lakh of sense of kerala politicians).
I think Mammooty should go ahead and become the brand Ambassador of Coke. After all, such attractive offers are given only to people who are very popular, especially someone like Mammooty in Kerala. The money involved is enormous and perhaps Mammooty can donate part of the amount to one of the several socially helpful causes, if he so desires. I do not think that this is such a great crime that he should let go this golden opportunity and earning.
It sound so ridiculous the CPI is pressurising Mamooty not accept the offer from coke, but the CPI based channel Kairali wl not decline any ad.spots from coke. TYPICAL COMMUNIST STATE AND COMMUNIST PARTY, they never change
Coco-cola is not the biggest exploiter of water resorces in kerala. If the communists are really worried about the explotaio of water resources, they must first accest that the over mining of sands from Kerala's 42 rivers caused the horrible condition in kerla.
The militant labour unions of communist party is opposing the ban on sand mining from rivers. The communista re the biggest exploiters of water resources in Kerala.not just coco-cola.
Yes the multi anatonals are coming to india to do business. They are ready to exploit all the resorces and facilities.
this is typical dogs own country bull shit. They don't realise that they're goin to dogs with this outdated ideologies.Well Mammooty can utilise those 2 crores to recharge the ground water. And if the channel accepts coke ads why not poor Mammootty. We should call a nationwide Kerala Bandh for 2 months to protest against cruelty to Mammooty and damage to Coke and whatever else reasons u've.We need to call a hartal asap.So I'll stop now for the hartal and think of few more reasons to call hartals over the year so that the 100% literate state prospers. The economy of the state is set to zoom as people all over the world start drinking coconut water instead of turning Coca nuts.Courtesy Mammooty refusing the 2 crore deal.Hail Mammooty the new messiah.
Mammotty's accepting the Coke offer, his being a Left sympathiser and Over-exploitation of ground water resources are all separate issues. Interlinking any of these issues reveals utterly confused minds.

Advertising for coke and the support to communist pary are not separate issues. It reflects the ideology one has .If he is faithful to party or wants to practice some ideology he should realy re-think about it. Other wise it is a question of his credibility. kalyani
