What is this nonsense fascination of the Indian Media with a culturally vulgar play? Have we as Indian have no pride left anymore that whatever the garbage this westerners throw at us we gladly accept it by bending over?
I studied 'Vagina Monologues' in college here in US and was disgusted to read it. I am sure any Indian with good cultural values will protest against this play or at best ignore this so-called liberal feminist play.
Indian culture provides tremendous request to women and we certainly don't need to be 'enlightened' by this stupid play.

I fail to fathom, Manas, what exactly did u find "disgusting" about the play. And where does the questions of our "cultural values" come in? This is just a play - an art form, a form of expression. If u did not like it, say so; why are u going hammers and tongs about western culture and indian values. Get a life, get ur head out of the sand - world is changing. Start living with the times.
