A filmstar in India can never be a common man howevermuch Vivek may want to be one. It is too late for him or the likes of him to become or behave like a commoner. This is going to be his regret throughout his life if he sincerely believes in commonness which will be a luxury for him. As he has joined filmdom, romance and love will also be a luxury to him. He will not be able to taste the pleasures of real life romance and divine love. Anyway, my best wishes to Vivek and his father.
vivek d star n vivek d person are not at al diff...dats y he has been able 2 make so many friends n develop much fanfare within so less time. hes really a nice man n dat is y my fav.actor! may god giv hm success like nething. wish he cud read dis msg.
Hey Vivek, I being a great fan of yours feel that your driving in a auto-rickshaw, your loving Vada Paavs and your not getting irritated attitude while meeting your fans show a great vivek and character out of your personality. Ours being a country where emotions and feelings hold a high place and your likes seem to go in upholding the emotions of a common Indian man. Hats off to you that even stardom didn't change your kid and luv towards your likes. Great going Vivek...you are in hearts of millions of people and you have set a correct example for them. Guess you are only the second one after Govinda who are so close to common people. Have a great success ahead...with...kyun..ho gayaa naa!
Sorry to break your bubble, Mr Oberoi, but there is more to being a common man than travelling in autorickshaws and eating vadapavs.
I wonder how many of common men would be able to afford a fancy acting course at New York. How many further would have gotten the kind of breaks you got because of your background. I wonder how many common men would be asked to handle the olympic torch on the basis of a few, not-so-good films and a fancy girlfriend.
But to make celebrities out of people who have not proved their worth as yet, is Indian media's favourate passtime. So bask in it while you can, but please spare us the 'common man' act.
He has only one hit movie company and also he was not in lead role. All other movies were flop. He is not a start. Pls don't refer him as a star. He has to prove a lot. It's not that easy to become a star
