Like others, I too was waiting for Yuva's release from the maker of Roja & Bombay. But truly speaking, nobody is killing "Yuva" by saying that it disappoints. It, in itself is a very confused film and I was not able to make out what message it wants to give it to today's Yuva.
Characters are not fully drawn and except for characters like Rani, Ajay and Abhishek, all other actors appeared to be a waste. Don't know what for Kareena and Vivek were casted?? to add glamour to the film, perhaps.
Rahman's music score was equally disappointing. Worst ever composed by him.
It seems that Mani Ratnam quality of making good quality cinema is deteroriating by each new film of his

Yuva is just Gr8. Kudos to Mani for presenting us such an excellent movie. We're all fed up with the 'family dramas' and boring run-of-the-mill Romantic stories. Carry on the good work Mani....
I saw the tamil version of Yuva,it was fantastic,I really enjoyed the film , it was technically very good. but all the review tells a diffrent story ....!?!? Is there any process going on, turning Mr Manirathnam comercial director..??
I liked movie "yuva".. it is movie which every youth should see ...trade magazines should not be in hurry to write off movies which are doing well just becoz movie does not come from big banners of bombay who make senseless movie and just by sheer good PR get good reviews ...
hi, I want to say that about YUVA that the film is so good.Because in the film the actor & actress are give a verry brilient acting to the audiences.And the story line of the film is so good,it is a verry good movie to see.
