Julie made no sense to me. Even after reading the review on Rediff it made no sense to me. I can not beleive this movie is a hit and people are so into this movie and they criticize movie like Kyun Ho gaya na. I understand they are completly diffrent movies and shot in a diffrent way but I grew watching hindi films. I have wholesome famliy movies to movies like Fire and Monsoon Wedding. I agree Kyun Ho Gaya Na is not best movie and they could had done better putting it together. But after watching quite few police dramas and sexual movies you always let your brain go on a diffrent mode and want to just "Comfort Movie like Kyun Ho Gaya Na. I would admit before I thought it was stupid to watch a movie just for the songs but not anymore. Kyun Ho Gaya Na also had its good moments too. And I thought Vivek and Aishwarya Rai made good pair. I beleive some movies should just be watched for what it is and put too much expections on some. But Julie if it was really made moral point then it did not succeed in doing that. I think it was a hit because of exposure, no matter what anyone says. I vulguar or skin shown in the movie. Julie is bad and I wouldn't waste my time!!!

Well the movie is good in parts but sometimes it gets a bit confusing ; I still don't get it why does she have to become a prostitute just because she is ditched and used by her lovers . Well there many attractive girls working in all kinds of jobs who have had bad relationships but they don't end up as call girls.?

Anyways Neha is okay ; looks good too. But I hate these film makers always depicting Christian girls as prostitutes , Manisha in Kamoshi & Dimple in Bobby etc were more true to the characterization of a goan Christian girl. Call girls come from all walks of castes and creeds.

Well Bolly wood is certainly coming of age but they still need to break out of the stereotypes of characters.
