Dr. Raman shut up! The insensitivity of your comment is not worth commenting on. Yes its time for a "Save the Leopard" campaign. It is we who take everything for granted. The greed is despicable.
It's high time that our beloved country wakes up and stops the illegal encroachment of forests which ultimately lead to such tragic happenings. Tragic for the human victims and also tragic for the Leopards. Now, practically every Leopard will be targetted just because a few Leopards developed a morbid taste for human flesh. If the rubbish policies which advocate cutting down forests, so that some godamn politician can make money isn't stopped in time, soon India will not have any more forests or wildlife. As far as the person advocating "Save The Homo-sapien" is concerned, he ought to know better! "Homo-Sapiens" are the cause that such problems exist. If "Homo-Sapiens" had the simple brains to realise that encroaching on forests isn't very bright, things would've been much better. I can only pray that the Indian Leopard doesn't join the list on which the Indian Cheetah is a prominent fixture.
Save the Tiger is already there. Now it is Save the Leopard. Why not Save the Cockroach! Save the Bedbug! Save Smallpox! ... Ultimately one might think of Save the Homo sapiens!
