i am really very very sad to know the demise news of suraiya the great singer of the time. one of my aunts was very much inspired of her voice and performance in the films,she was died many years before. the great singer SEHGAL,and great music director of the time NAUSHAD were among many admirers of her. ofcourse LATA JEE is the greatest singer,but again she do not like to perform in the films but singing. where suraiya has the quality of singing and acting both.
I have seen her few movies. I like her in every movie. I have dastan with rajkapoor in which she was look very beautiful.Really this was a great loss to indian film industry
today when i seenthe net,find the superstar singer,surya ji was no more. its so sad for the world of music especially and in genral people of our country and abrod who r fane of her sound. my heartest condolence to her dimise and departed sole and pray for her all family members to strenghtend the will in such a sad movment. ok kripalsingh delhi
whoever has filed the report, should atleast know what to write where. when a person has expired it is expected that you let know the people the reason of death, the milestones achieved by the person who expired, but not the relationships that they had or any controversial matters that would show the person in a bad light. please stop these kinds of so-called masala in the reports. Ms. Suraiya's achievements were fine but we are least interested in whom she had affairs with or anything. Please let the departed soul rest in peace.
I am deeply shocked to learn about the sad demise of singing star of yester year of Hindi Cinema. She had a voice which attracted every one not only in those years but still haunts music lovers of today. Not only a good singer, she acted in several Hindi Films and with her death, a period of acting as well as singing by heroins has ended. My Tributes to the melody queen and heart felt condolences to the berieved family.
