I will rate this movie 6 out of 10.
Good attempt by Pooja Bhatt.
Full marks to her casting and specially Udita.
She will go a long way!
Its a movie which tell about a inner struggle, and I think, it does not need to be said, it need to be felt.

by Krishna Kadam on Jan 30, 2004 07:07 PM

Defintely Pooja Bhat has tried a interesting subject in her debut. This article is balanced one but how can you say Dr Agahse shierks? He is the the actor who with his perfect sense of facial expressions and body language makes every scene superb.Remember the confrontation scene between John and Dr Agashe.

Sounds like another remake :-|
by Arun on Jan 30, 2004 01:25 AM

After reading the story outline, it seems like this movie is loosely based on Harrison Ford starrer "Witness". In that movie Ford is the cop who comes from a city with a boy (witness to a murder) and his mother to an amish village. He is injured too so on so forth.

Paap - Movie
by Bhajan on Jan 29, 2004 04:13 PM

I really wonder why no mention was made about Harrison Ford's movie "Witness".Except for trying to Indianise a little, in paap not one scene/shot or situation deviated from the hollywood original. This is a case of blatant plagarism.I think its heriditary.Even her father did lift lot of scenes from various movies.
