i completely agree with the above article ..all the three above mentioned movies have been given extensive coverage by the media and all the actors have garnered alot of praise for their roles..but SRK has played the role god knows how many times ..has never bothered to play anyhting else..even if the character is different his prtrayal and acting is the same...baghban is exaggerated and too sugary sweet to handle, chalte chalte was an effort to sit through( i was sleeping through the second half)and kal ho naa ho was the same as all the other karan johar movies except for the presence of saif ali khan who was refreshing in his role...i thought the mive was good till the interval but the second half reconfirmed my belief that karan johar movies are all tears and more tears till u want to cry out of frustration to be forced to sit through this thoroughly boring and cliched movie!! we need more movies like samay and jhankaar beats if we wish to improve the quality of our films

Very good column. Really after seeing these sickening feel good movies, I often think that why this movie was made. Is life really so easy? I dont understand why people appreciate movies like Dil to Pagal hai/Hum aake hai kaun etc etc etc. where heros and heroines always go on vacation to Switzerland or some other place in Europe. Dont they know that a common man in India just cant even think of going to these places. What message these type of movies are conveying? Can someone explain me?

You said it right sunil, we are tired of the regular emotional dramas. I wonder how long we have to wait before we get to watch more movies like dil chahta hai.
