Where is the Plan ?
by Rk on Jan 18, 2004 05:22 PM

I am sure that the director dint plan for his movie
PLAN. Infact ! Sanjay Dutt is a good actor as far as movies picturing him like a dada or don. But still he needs to plan himself for those roles and should suggest director to plan the subject and last but not the least NOT TO EVER PLAN TO DIRECT A MOVIE LIKE THE PLAN EVER IN HIS LIFE.

Seems like an ''inspired'' take-off
by Sharat on Jan 10, 2004 10:34 AM

Sounds like the movie was "inspired" from Guy Ritchie's LOCK, STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS.
Why doesn't White Feather films do a proper take-off?
KAANTE was not a bad effort, but after leaving the theatre, you can't help but think that there was something missing.
Anyway, better luck next time.

Rip off
by Julian on Jan 10, 2004 12:36 AM  | Hide replies

I can't believe even the reviewer does not realise that "The Plan" is a ripoff of "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". Bollywood is most apt to rather ripping films like Dumb and Dumber than such classy flicks.

If this was the story of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, I don't see what was so classy in that movie. It's time we woke up and started looking beyond the technical glitz of the West and realized that they make just as crappy films as Bollywood. Merely adding a few F words and mating scenes doesn't make them any better or more realistic.

plan is a copy
by Aalok on Jan 09, 2004 10:13 PM

This movie is a copy from the classic guy ritchie movie called "Lock , Stock and Two smoking Barrels".
looks like all sanjay dutt and his friends can do is copy hollywood or british movies to make an absolute mockery of them. such films do not impress NRI's cause they know abt the original movies. even the local critics don't like them. what a waste of money and time.

Film Reviews
by Himanshu on Jan 09, 2004 09:48 PM

The film reviews here are rather like tellingthe stroy partially. Whether the film is worth seeing or not but the chram for the film gets lost upon knowing the story whether ineresting or non intersting.
Better put soem good reviewers on the panel.
