Amitabhji is such a versatile and suave actor that he looks good in any film. He does very well when paired, even today any film of his is a pleasure to watch, whether he is paired or solo. Actors like Saif, Salman, Sanjay and SRK when paired always do a good job with any other actors. There were other jodi's to remember though, like Amitabh-Rishi, Vinod Khanna-Dharmedra, Aamir-Salman. Some good movies came out with these jodi's. The next article should be about female jodi's, there were quite a few of those too.
And Yes I am Talking about "Dharmendra" and "The Big B". They are the best male pair to hit the Silver Screen.
The others according to me is (I am going by the characters not by the Actors) Baba and Nawab (Atish - Sanjay Dutt & Aditya Pancholi) Jai and Veeru (Jodi No.1 - Govinda and Sunju Baba) Amar and Prem (Andaz Apna Apna - Amir and Salman Khan)
and there may be many but its not coming to my mind.
i think amitabh and dharmendra's pair was the best. they had good sense of timings together. both r fabulaous actors as well. one more pair which was not less that amitji & dharamji's pair was shahi kapoor's pair with amitabh bachhan. they too had a gr8 chemistry on screen.....
I know it is funny Sukanya...but how cud u forget...Shakti kapoor and Kader Khan..okie they were sad cases still they were Hit...and then...i think if one does not stick to Heroes just...then Sunjay Dutt and Shivaji Satham...papa-son sorts...or then AB and Amjad khan...sometimes perhaps...

true ab and dharam shared a wonderfull bonding as jai and veeru in sholay 29years have sped by but still the characters are so fresh in your mind the mere mention of jai and veeru brings backs allthose fond memroies of them movies will come and go but this particular casting willremain as the best
